Nevertheless, the current low level of student engagement in university mathematics classrooms has seriously restricted the improvement of teaching quality. This study deeply analyzes the existing problems in university mathematics classroom teaching, including the insufficient breadth, depth, and duration of student engagement, as well as the impacts brought by internet technology. In response to these problems, a series of practical improvement strategies are proposed, such as transforming teaching concepts and optimizing teaching content, implementing a tiered teaching model, strengthening teacher-student interaction, and improving assessment mechanisms.
