Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia among the elderly, characterized by cognitive decline, memory impairment, and, in severe cases, language disorders, ultimately leading to the loss of independent living abilities. This condition imposes a substantial burden on both patients and society. The underlying pathological changes of AD may exist for decades before the onset of clinical symptoms. Therefore, early diagnosis and intervention are of significant importance for high-risk populations, as they can substantially improve patient prognosis and quality of life. This paper will review the current cutting-edge articles related to AD in terms of biomarkers, search for potential markers for early diagnosis of AD by summarizing their research progress, and provide insights into the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
