The article elaborates on the core content of Marx’s labor theory of value, and discusses the development of China’s digital economy from this perspective, and further analyzes the connotation and essential characteristics of digital labor and the exploitation of digital capital behind it based on Marx’s labor theory of value. Finally, it discusses the practical implications of the Marxian labor theory of value for the digital economy: the digital economy promotes the Marxian labor theory of value to keep pace with the times, synergistically develops with the real economy, and promotes the wide application of the digital information sharing platform.
